The function selector and temperature buttons need to be depressed to use them.

Use the function selector to set the type of heating and other functions (hot air cooking, grilling, top/bottom heating, defrosting, oven light, self cleaning etc)

Use the temperature selector to set the temperature inside the oven and other functions (grill settings and self cleaning intensity)

The central display shows the temperature indicator, clock, timer settings, alarm etc.
