SUPERMARKETS

There are two small supermarkets in the centre of Samoëns: 

• PETIT CASINO, located just off the main square. Open 08:00 – 12:30 and 15:30 – 19:00 (closed Wednesday and Sunday afternoons).  
• SHERPA, located on the roundabout opposite the Cinema.  Open 07:30 – 20:00 every day during the season.  

There’s also a large CARREFOUR MARKET on the edge of Samoëns (which is also the cheapest place for fuel).  Leave Samoëns (direction Taninges) and the Carrefour Market is 500m on the left.  Open 08:30 – 20:00 Monday to Saturday and 08:30 – 12:30 on Sunday.  

Samoëns also benefits from a well stocked small Organic Grocer (AU NID NATURE) located below the large CGH Layssia Residence near the town centre.  Open 09:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 19:00 Monday to Friday, all day Saturday (closed Sunday).

BANKS

There are three banks in the centre of the village – BANQUE POPULAIRE (La Grande Rue, direction Carrefour), CREDIT AGRICOLE (Avenue Cognacq-Jaÿ) and CREDIT MUTUEL (Place du Gros Tilleul).  There is also a cashpoint machine in the entrance of Carrefour Market.

BAKERIES / PATISSERIES

There are a few bakeries in Samoëns. BOULANGERIE TIFFANIE is at 121 Ave du Fer a Cheval. LA JAYSINIA Patisserie on La Grande Rue (which also sells a selection of chocolates and cakes ) and another BOULANGERIE TIFFANIE opposite the Grand Massif Express gondola.
